West Wick Yacht Club founded at West Wick Marina at Stow Creek in ???? the then West Wick Marina owner Mr Ken Garrget being one of the original founding members. The club house still stands in the original location with many updates over the years now provides a cosy relaxing informal atmosphere with full catering during opening hours. In recent years the Marina has become one of the Yacht Haven group of marina’s with an ongoing programme of improvements and additional facilities.
The location set in the salting’s of the upper reach’s of the river crouch in Essex provide a quiet and relaxing base with excellent road and rail connections to London and beyond.
The club is open throughout the year. With reasonably priced drinks & Cooked food available at lunch and evening mealtimes when open, the catering is such that the members may entertain their friends and visitors, while those with a large family or crew to re-fuel can do so at a reasonable cost.
